Skymark Airlines (BC, Tokyo Haneda) has been taken to an English court by Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) according to Airbus spokeswoman Utako Fujiso, Reuters is reporting.
Airbus had cancelled Skymark's order for six A380-800s in July after Skymark was unable to pay for the instalments due earlier this year. Skymark already operates five A330-300s and has additional five aircraft on order via lessors. It however only operates the aircraft on domestic services and has given up long-haul plans after the A380 cancellation.
