Montserrat Airways (5M, Montserrat) has signed an agreement with the government of Antigua and Barbuda in which it will operate a twice daily service between Antigua and Barbuda Codrington. Initial operations began on December 21 and are scheduled to end on January 17.

"The Government of Antigua contacted FlyMontserrat to help out at a difficult time for the island with their current air operator’s inability to provide service," Montserrat Airways’s Managing Director, Nigel Harris, said. “We are happy to work with our friends in Barbuda."

The Montserratian carrier operates three Britten-Norman BN-2s on scheduled as well as charter services throughout the Caribbean.
