Starbow Airlines (Accra) has taken delivery of its first of two Dash 8-400s on lease from Falcon Aviation Services (FVS, Abu Dhabi Bateen). According to Skyliner Aviation, A6-FLR (cn 4486) was ferried from Toronto Downsview to Accra via Goose Bay, Reykjavik Keflavik, Nantes, Agadir, and Dakar Yoff-Léopold Sédar Senghor International between February 2 and 4.
The turboprops will allow Starbow, which until now had operated an all-jet fleet of two BAe 146-300s and one BAe 146-200, to resume services to thin domestic Ghanaian destinations such as Tamale.
