VLM (1992) (Antwerp) has announced the launch of operations out of Waterford in south east Ireland. The Belgian carrier says it will commence a 12x weekly service from Waterford to London Luton beginning April 27. Flights will operate twice daily from Monday to Friday and daily on the weekend using a Fokker 50.

Also on April 27, VLM will begin a 4x weekly service to Birmingham, GB replacing flybe. (2002) (Exeter) which will terminate its own service to Birmingham on March 27.

So far this year, a revitalized VLM has announced plans to develop Hamburg Helmut Schmidt and Liège as focus cities.
