China Airlines (CI, Taipei Taoyuan) has announced that it will switch its United Arab Emirate cargo operations from Abu Dhabi International to Dubai World Central effective April 16.
The Taiwanese carrier uses the UAE as an intermediate stopover on its cargo flights between Europe and Taiwan. It currently operates from Abu Dhabi to Amsterdam Schiphol, Luxembourg, Prague Václav Havel and Taipei Taoyuan and to Abu Dhabi from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, Luxembourg and Taipei.
