Fly All Ways Airlines (8W, Paramaribo International) will open bases in both Surinam and Guyana ahead of plans to commence scheduled flights throughout South America as well as to islands in the Caribbean.

The Curaçao Chronicle newspaper says the Blue Wing Airlines (BWI, Paramaribo Zorg en Hoop) subsidiary will base one of its two ex-KLM cityhopper Fokker 70s at Paramaribo International, Surinam while the other will be based out of Georgetown Cheddi Jagan, Guyana, from where it will offer flights to Barbados among other destinations.

Quoting sources close to the airline's operations, the paper claims Fly Allways, which is owned by Surinamese tycoon Dilip Sarjoe, was offered "lucrative concessions" by the Guyanese government to develop operations within the country.
