Tigerair (Singapore Changi) says last month, it finalized an agreement with Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) to firm up two A320neo order options. With the change, the Singaporean budget carrier's order with the Europeans now stands at thirty-nine firm aircraft, with eleven purchase options.

The options were secured under the A320neo aircraft order placed in March 2014, with a corresponding cancellation of two A320ceo transferred from Tigerair Australia (Melbourne Tullamarine), which is now owned by Virgin Australia (VA, Brisbane International).

The fifty aircraft, which will be powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1100 motors, are part of the LCC's fleet renewal and growth plan and will arrive between 2018 and 2025.
