SriLankan Airlines (UL, Colombo International) is set to phase out its fleet of four A340-300s in November this year a review of schedule data has revealed. The Airline Route blog reports the type's last commercial flights to Guangzhou via Bangkok Suvarnabhumi are scheduled for October 25, Riyadh for October 28, Shanghai Pudong for October 30, and Doha Hamad International for November 1.

In all, the Sri Lankan national carrier is replacing its A340-300s with a fleet of seven A330-300s, the last trio of which is to be delivered from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) between late 2015 and early 2016.
