EVA Air (BR, Taipei Taoyuan) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) for the purchase of four more A330-300s. As with its existing A330 fleet, the new aircraft will be powered by General Electric CF6-80 motors.

The Taiwanese carrier currently operates a fleet of twelve A330 twinjets - nine A330-200s and three A330-300s - on flights throughout South East Asia, as well as to Australia and Europe.
