Following the arrival of VN-A886 (cn 014) in Hanoi Noi Bai International on Tuesday, June 30, Vietnam Airlines (VN, Hanoi Noi Bai International) has announced it will begin commercial A350-900 operations on Friday, July 3 with flights between the Vietnamese capital and Ho Chi Minh City. Once training flights have been completed, the twinjet will then be deployed on the flag carrier's Paris CDG and Seoul Incheon services.
Vietnam Airlines has a total of fourteen A350-900s on order, including ten on order from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) and four under lease agreements.
