Chengdu Airlines (EU, Chengdu Shuangliu) is to commence international operations with the launch of flights from its Chengdu Shuangliu hub to Lahore International, Pakistan. The China Southern Airlines (CZ, Guangzhou) subsidiary has begun the requisite paperwork with the launch expected before year-end.

Currently, Chengdu Airlines serves forty-two destinations across continental China using an all-Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) fleet of three A319-100s, sixteen A320-200s. It is expected to take of two ARJ21-700s later this or early next year.
