Arke Fly (Amsterdam Schiphol) has become the first carrier in the TUI Group's stable of airlines to rebrand under its international oneBrand campaign.

Effective October 1, the Dutch leisure operator now operates as TUI fly (Netherlands) (OR, Amsterdam Schiphol) with B787-8 PH-TFL (msn 37228) the first aircraft in its fleet to sport a revised livery.

In May this year, the German multinational travel and tourism firm said it would rebrand all of its five carriers - Arke Fly, Jetairfly (Brussels National), Thomson Airways (London Luton), TUI fly (Germany) (X3, Hannover), and TUI fly Nordic (6B, Stockholm Arlanda) - under a single "TUI" master brand to help improve consistency as well as overall international recognition.

According to the firm, the transition to TUI will begin with Arkefly and Jetairfly in the initial phase followed by TUIfly Nordic and Thomson Airways in the second. TUI's other subsidiary, Corsair International (SS, Paris Orly), has been excluded from the project.

Despite the move to a unified brand strategy, all five carriers will continue to operate under separate Air Operator Certificates (AOC). However, in a bid to streamline costs and administrative overheads, they will be consolidated into one "central organization" employing a singular "engineering and maintenance function.”
