Meridiana (Olbia) has confirmed plans to begin seasonal flights from Milan Malpensa to the Mozambican resort town of Pemba, MZ. The weekly flights, Pemba's maiden longhaul route, will launch on December 3 of this year using Air Italy (2005) (Milan Malpensa) B767-300(ER)s routed via Zanzibar.
Pemba is located along the country's northern Indian Ocean shore and is renowned for its water sports and diving activities.
