Hawaiian Airlines (HA, Honolulu) is in the market for additional B717-200s Chief Executive Officer Mark Dunkerley has told Bloomberg news. The US carrier currently uses its fleet of eighteen B717s to operate inter-island flights throughout Hawaii.

Though Dunkerley did not confirm where his airline was looking to source the added aircraft, Spanish LCC Volotea (V7, Barcelona El Prat) recently announced plans to transition its fleet away from the B717 towards the A320 Family of jets.
