Finnair (AY, Helsinki Vantaa) has revised plans to lease in foreign metal to cover its Helsinki Vantaa-New York JFK operations over the period December 7 to 29.
Though it had planned to wet-lease a B777-200(ER) from Privilege Style (P6, Palma de Mallorca) for the entire contract, the Spanish operator will only be used December 14 to 29 while the period December 7 to 13 will now be covered by a B777-200(ER) leased from Portugal euroAtlantic Airways (YU, Lisbon).
The use of leased aircraft over the period has been necessitated by changes in the expected delivery schedules of Finnair's fleet of A350-900s.
