Austrian Airlines (OS, Vienna) will wet-lease a CRJ900 from Adria Airways (Ljubljana) and its partner Nordica (ND, Tallinn Lennart Meri) to cover an anticipated surge in demand during the current summer season.
The Lufthansa (LH, Frankfurt International) subsidiary said in a statement that between May 1 and late October, the Bombardier Aerospace twinjet would be used on flights from Vienna to Amsterdam Schiphol, Vilnius, and Milan Malpensa.
Four more contracts are expected to be announced as the season progresses.
