Aurigny Air Services (GR, Guernsey) has ordered a second Do228NG from RUAG Aerospace (Emmen) with delivery scheduled for summer next year.
Last year, the Guernsey-based carrier announced plans to replace its outgoing fleet of Britten-Norman Trislanders with three Dornier 228s - two NewGens and one classic. The first - G-SAYE (cn 8046) - was delivered in May 2015.
Altogether, Aurigny operates a total of three Do228s on flights from Guernsey to Alderney and Dinard/St. Malo as well as between Southampton and Alderney.
