WOW air (Reykjavik Keflavik) has taken delivery of its first widebody jet, A330-300 EC-MIO (cn 1624) formerly in service with Air Europa (UX, Palma de Mallorca). Skyliner Aviation reports the jet was positioned to Reykjavik Keflavik from Cambridge after repainting on Tuesday, May 31.

A further two A330-300s are expected in due course including another ex-Air Europa A330-300, EC-MIN (cn 1607), and a former Singapore Airlines (SQ, Singapore Changi) machine, TF-GAY (cn 1098).

The trio of jets will be used in the Icelandic LCC's launch of longhaul flights to Los Angeles International and San Francisco later this summer.
