UTair (UT, Khanty-Mansiysk) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Basel Aero, the firm that manages the airports of Sochi, Krasnodar, Gelendzhik, Eisk, and Anapa, to actively develop air transport in the Krasnodar region.

Under the terms of the agreement, effective August 1, UTair will begin a double-daily, year-round Krasnodar-Sochi return service followed by daily services from each of Krasnodar and Sochi to Yerevan, Armenia effective August 10. All flights operate on-board B737-500 equipment.

According to the ch-aviation route database, UTair currently connects Krasnodar with Moscow Vnukovo, Nizhnevartovsk, Nojabrsk, Novy Urengoy, Surgut, and Tyumen Roschino while on the other hand it connects Sochi with Khanty-Mansiysk, Kursk, Moscow Vnukovo, Nizhnevartovsk, Nojabrsk, Stavropol, Surgut, Syktyvkar, and Tyumen Roschino.
