The Tanzanian government has signed a firm order agreement with Bombardier Aerospace (BBA, Montréal Trudeau) for two Dash 8-400s. The turboprops, once delivered, will likely be placed with Air Tanzania (TC, Dar es Salaam) as part of its fleet renewal programme.
Air Tanzania currently operates one Dash 8-300 on regular flights to Kigoma, Moroni International, Mtwara, and Mwanza from its Dar es Salaam hub.
