Cooperativa Brasil Transporte Aéreo de Cargas, also known as Brascoota (Belém International), has taken delivery of its first known aircraft, a DC-8-73(F) PP-BEL (msn 46047) formerly in service with the now defunct BETA - Brazilian Express Transportes Aéreos (São Paulo Guarulhos).
The Brazilian start-up will reportedly use the freighter, along with other aircraft, to ferry perishables such as fruit and meat around Brazil.
