Frontier Airlines (F9, Denver International) is set to take delivery of its first of sixty-two A320neo on order from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac). Powered by CFM International LEAP-1A engines, N301FR (cn 7141) has already been handed over to the ultra low-cost carrier but yet to fly to the United States.
As it stands, Frontier operates twenty-six A319-100s, twenty-five A320-200s, and thirteen A321-200s with an additional eighteen A319neo, two A320ceo, sixty-one A320neo, and six A321ceo still on order from the European manufacturer.
