VietJetAir (VJ, Hanoi Noi Bai International) will wet-lease two A320-200s from Estonian ACMI/charter specialist SmartLynx Airlines Estonia (MYX, Tallinn Lennart Meri) later this winter season ch-aviation has learned.
According to a press communique, ES-SAK (cn 888) and ES-SAM (cn 1896) will be based out of Hanoi Noi Bai International with effect from January of next year for an indeterminate period.
This contract adds to another one which parent firm SmartLynx Airlines (6Y, Riga) has been operating for Jetstar Pacific (Ho Chi Minh City) since May. Under that agreement, SmartLynx operates A320-200 YL-LCN (cn 662) for and on behalf of Jetstar Pacific on flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Quoc, Vinh City, and Da Nang domestically.
