The Indian Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has suspended Air Pegasus's Air Operator's Permit (AOP) after the carrier failed to provide guarantees concerning its proposed resumption of operations.

According to the Times of India, the directive was issued on November 8, 2016.

The Indian regional carrier ceased operations on July 27 of this year following cash flow constraints preventing it to settle leasing fees with Elix Aviation Capital and Nordic Aviation Capital from which it had leased three ATR72-500s.
