Finnair (AY, Helsinki Vantaa) has announced it has signed a longterm lease agreement with CDB Aviation involving two new A321-200s.

Configured with 209 seats, the first aircraft is scheduled to arrive in time for the 2017/18 winter season while the second will arrive for the summer season 2018.

The lease agreements are for a minimum term of eight years.

Finnair has a total of six other A321-200 (SL)s due for delivery from Singapore's BOC Aviation from the first half of 2017 onwards. The aircraft are part of Finnair’s fleet renewal, wherein regional feeder capacity is increased commensurately with long-haul capacity.
