Jet2 (United Kingdom) (LS, Leeds/Bradford) has announced it has finalized an order with Boeing (BOE, Washington National) for four additional B737-800s. With this addition, the UK leisure specialist's order backlog with the US manufacturer stands at thirty-four B737-800s.

Jet2 said in a statement that the quartet of aircraft would deliver between August 2018 and January 2019. In terms of passenger operations, the airline currently operates sixteen B737-300s, twenty-eight B737-800s, and eleven B757-200s on scheduled passenger flights between the UK and various destinations across Europe, with a notable focus on Spain, France, and the Mediterranean region as a whole.
