Sun-Air (EZ, Billund) will axe its Bremen Hans Koschnick base operations later this month just sixteen weeks after they were first inaugurated.

ch-aviation analysis of schedule data indicates the Danish carrier's last flights out of the north German airfield to London City and Manchester International are scheduled for February 24, 2017.

A report in the region's Weser Kurier newspaper indicates Sun-Air, which is a British Airways (BA, London Heathrow) franchisee, justified the withdrawal on the grounds that its Do328-100/-300 aircraft were needed elsewhere to fill the market gaps left by Danish carrier Jet Time (2006)'s impending exit from the ACMI market.

Sun-Air operates two Do328-100s and fifteen Do328-300s on scheduled flights connecting Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, and the United Kingdom. The turboprop aircraft are operated on its behalf by MHS Aviation (Germany) (M2, Munich).
