Lucky Air (China) (8L, Dali) has confirmed it will commence its first intercontinental services towards the end of the current quarter of the year.

According to the China News Service, the LCC will start 2x weekly Kunming Changshui-Moscow Domodedovo, Russia, flights on June 12 using its growing fleet of A330-300s sourced from parent Hainan Airlines (HU, Haikou).

The aircraft has been configured with a total of 292 seats - 32 seats in premium class and 260 in Economy - to allow the carrier to offer boutique services onboard.

A unit of HNA Group, Lucky Air currently operates three A319-100s, eight A320-200s, twelve B737-700s, and sixteen B737-800s on scheduled passenger flights to seventy-seven destinations across China as well as Thailand, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
