Aruba Airlines (AG, Aruba) is planning to acquire two E145s to boost its regional Caribbean and Latin American operations The Curaçao Chronicle has reported. No details concerning possible delivery dates were revealed.

The announcement comes in the wake of a recent settlement between majority shareholder Seastar Holding N.V. and founder and former airline CEO, Onno de Swart resulting in Seastar Holding assuming full control of Aruba Airlines.

The Aruban carrier operates one A319-100 and two A320-200s on scheduled passenger flights connecting Aruba with Maracaibo and Valencia Arturo Michelena International in Venezuela and Miami International in the United States.
