Air Guilin (GT, Guilin) has signed lease agreements with AWAS for two A320-200s. The lessor said in a statement the aircraft are sourced from its Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) order book and will deliver in 2018. Both aircraft will also come equipped with CFM International 56-5B4/3 PIP engines.
A unit of Hainan Airlines (HU, Haikou), Air Guilin is looking to capitalize on China's increasing domestic demand for leisure and business air travel. It currently operates of three A319-100s and one A320-200 on scheduled passenger flights covering twenty-two destinations across mainland China.
