Scoot (TR, Singapore Changi) has confirmed it will make its US debut with Honolulu flights due to commence by June of next year. Though the budget carrier was coy on specific details, it has previously alluded to serving the Pacific island chain from its Singapore Changi hub via Osaka Kansai, Japan.

Scoot completed the absorption of fellow Singapore Airlines budget carrier Tigerair on July 25 bringing its overall network reach to sixty destinations spanning Asia, Oceania, and Europe. In terms of active fleet, Scoot operates two A319-100s, twenty-one A320-200s, eight B787-8s, and six B787-9s.

As part of the final merger announcement, Scoot has also announced Harbin, Kuching, Kuantan and Palembang as new destinations. Kuching and Palembang are routes being transferred to Scoot from its sister carrier SilkAir (SLK, Singapore Changi).
