Hong Kong Air Cargo (RH, Hong Kong International) will wet-lease a total of three B747-400(F)s from Atlas Air (5Y, New York JFK) the US cargo specialist has revealed in a statement.
The first aircraft will enter service in September 2017 and will serve routes between Asia and the USA. The second and third aircraft are expected to enter service at some point during 2018.
A unit of Hong Kong Airlines (HX, Hong Kong International), Hong Kong Air Cargo secured its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) from the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (CAD) in April this year.
