Nordwind Airlines (N4, Moscow Sheremetyevo) is set to add B777-300(ER) capacity to its fleet following the signing of a longterm leasing contract with DAE Capital for two aircraft of the type. The Dubai-based lessor said in a statement the aircraft are ex-EVA Air (BR, Taipei Taoyuan) stock. Though neither the aircraft's identities nor their delivery dates were revealed, ch-aviation research indicates they are likely msn 32639 and 32640, both of which are in storage at Taipei Taoyuan at this time.

Nordwind operates a diverse fleet of aircraft encompassing both Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) and Boeing (BOE, Washington National) machinery. According to the ch-aviation aircraft database, it employs nine A321-200s, two A330-200s, seven B737-800s, and four B777-200(ER)s.

As recently reported, Nordwind will pioneer charter hub operations later this winter season wherein it will funnel its domestic Russian passenger traffic, operated via scheduled passenger flights, through its Moscow Sheremetyevo hub where it will then be placed onto international charter flights bound for foreign leisure destinations.
