Blue Micronesia Airlines (Guam International) is a new Guam-based start-up looking to offer scheduled services throughout the Northern Mariana Islands using a fleet of turboprops. Blue Micronesia Airlines says it is in the process of applying for its US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate (AOC) to operate its own commercial aircraft and is also exploring the acquisition of a Part 121/135 AOC to expedite the launch of airline service later this year.

The carrier's prospectus states it intends to offer commercial passenger and cargo flights between Saipan, Tinian, Rota International, and Guam International using an BN-2, a Shorts 360 and a Saab 340B.

In the longterm, the airline intends to offer direct flights to Koror (Palau), Pohnpei (Federated States of Micronesia), and Majuro (Marshall Islands).

Blue Micronesia Airlines is owned by Aviana Airways Corporation which also counts Inter Island Airways (Pago Pago), Inter Island Airways Fiji (Suva), and Manu'a Airways (Pago Pago) among its portfolio of carriers.
