Daily Air (Taipei Sung Shan) has begun scheduled DHC-6-400 operations following the induction of four of the twinprops from CAVU Aviation Finance this year.
According to the Taiwanese Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA), the Twin Otters are being gradually deployed on Daily Air's subsidized flights from Taitung to Lanyu and Lyudao, from Kaohsiung to Qimei and Wang'an, and from Penghu to Chi Mei.
The twinprops are replacing the Taiwanese scheduled carrier's outgoing fleet of three Do228s whose last scheduled service is slated for October 31.
