The Dutch government has acquired a new B737 Boeing Business Jet to cover its VIP transport requirements Development minister Melanie Schultz has said.

According to Reuters, the new jet, to be registered PH-GOV, will replace a twenty-two-year-old Fokker 70 - PH-KBX (msn 11547) - that it currently operates by KLM cityhopper (WA, Amsterdam Schiphol) for Rijksluchtvaartdienst's VIP transports. The latter will be disposed of in the short-term, Schultz added.
