Tara Air (Kathmandu) and Nepal Airlines (RA, Kathmandu) have suspended flights to the eastern town of Bhojpur until June next year to allow for critical runway upgrade works. The airfield currently sports a single 533m-long grass strip.
The carriers had operated a combined total of six weekly flights to Kathmandu and Biratnagar using DHC-6 aircraft.
