Canada Jetlines (AU, Toronto Pearson) is set to lease three B737-300s from GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) the AirFinance Journal has reported. The aircraft are currently undergoing maintenance checks ahead of their delivery to the nascent LCC.

On its planned launch in July, Jetlines intends to offer ultra low-cost flights out of its Vancouver International hub expanding its network eastwards into the rest of Canada as well as southwards into the neighbouring United States and Mexico. Initial growth plans are based on a fleet of at least seven leased B737 Classics and, finance permitting, nine B737NextGens.
