Asiana Airlines (OZ, Seoul Incheon) says it has suspended its flights to Hiroshima International until the end of the month pending the completion of a safety review. The announcement comes after an Asiana A320-200, operating as flight OZ162 from Seoul Incheon on April 14, touched down roughly 300m short of runway 10, impacting the ILS-LOC antenna before skidding off the runway about 1500 meters past the runway threshold.

Of the eighty-two passengers and crew on board, two cabin crew and twenty-five passengers received injuries while the aircraft, HL7762 (cn 3244), sustained substantial damage.

Asiana said in a statement that the suspension would last until the end of April while it checks "safety measures related to the Hiroshima route, airport facilities, planes, and training."

JAL - Japan Airlines (JL, Tokyo Haneda) and ANA - All Nippon Airways (NH, Tokyo Haneda) have resumed limited services to Hiroshima which partially reopened last week following a brief closure.
