Korean Air (KE, Seoul Incheon) has taken delivery of its maiden B747-8 following the arrival of HL7630 (msn 40905) at Seoul Incheon from Everett on Wednesday, August 25. The quadjet is the first of ten on order from Boeing (BOE, Washington National) of which a further three are scheduled for delivery this year. The remaining six will arrive over the course of 2016 and 2017.

Korean plans to initially deploy its B747-8s on flights from Incheon to Frankfurt International, Singapore Changi, and San Francisco during the last quarter of the year.
