CEFC China Energy Company has increased its shareholding in Travel Service Airlines (Prague Václav Havel) to 49.92% after it exercised rights to an additional 39.92% tranche. The Chinese firm entered the Czech ACMI/charter operator's shareholding with the acquisition of a 10% stake in September of last year.

Last month, Travel Service alluded to increasing its shareholding in CSA Czech Airlines (OK, Prague Václav Havel) to a controlling 54%. Should the deal go through, it would give CEFC an indirect foothold into the Czech carrier whose other largescale shareholder is Korean Air (KE, Seoul Incheon) with 44%.
