Inter Island Airways Fiji (Suva) is a planned Fijian start-up looking to launch operations in June/July 2013 using the name branding of Inter Island Airways (Pago Pago). A subsidiary of Las Vegas based holding company Aviana Airways, the carrier will be based out of Suva and will initially operate to Labasa, Savusavu, Taveuni, Kadavu Island and Rotuma Island using four Do228s and one Do328-100 with plans to expand into Tuvalu, Wallis & Futuna, Samoa, American Samoa, Niue and Tonga in early 2014 using CRJ200s. Then, after the establishment of an additional hub in Pago Pago, a new "Inter Island" South Pacific Regional Network will interlink Fiji, with both Samoa and American Samoa, Tonga, Niue, Wallis & Futuna, Vanuatu, Tuvalu and the Cook Islands. In the long term, the airline plans to build new aircraft hangars and FBO and support facilities to service additional aircraft.
