La Compagnie (B0, Paris Orly) has taken delivery of its first A321-200neo(LR) following the arrival of F-HBUZ (msn 8866) at Paris Orly on Saturday, May 18.

The longhaul-capable narrowbody features 76 full-flat seats and will be pressed into service on June 6 when it will be used to expand La Compagnie's Paris Orly-New York Newark route to 3x daily. A second of the type, also on lease from GECAS, is due to deliver in September.

FAA urges caution in Gulf region as tensions flare

The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an advisory to all commercial carriers active in the overwater airspace above the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman to exercise caution given heightened tensions between the United States and Iran.

National Airlines (N8, Orlando Sanford) is set to add its first Airbus equipment to its fleet which at present consists entirely of Boeing aircraft.

The European Union says it has signed a range of aviation-related protocols with China including a horizontal aviation agreement to strengthen their aviation cooperation.

Hengchun Airport, located near Kenting National Park, has confirmed it will lose its only scheduled passenger traffic at the end of this month.

A payment firm in the Nordic area is in talks to extend the period for which it retains Thomas Cook Group's Scandinavian customers' cash from two days to several weeks, Sky News has reported.
