Aeroflot-Don (D9, Rostov on Don) has added a fourth ex-bmibaby (WW/Nottingham) B737-500. It will launch weekly B737-500 services from Rostov to Prague on May 20 and to Simferopol on May 27.

Lufthansa Cargo News Update

Lufthansa Cargo (LH, Frankfurt Int'l) has agreed to move its technical stops on flights to Asia from Astana to Krasnoyarsk once the cargo facilities at the airport have been modernized. This marks the end to a long dispute between Germany and Russia on overflight rights for Lufthansa Cargo. Russia had blocked its airspace to Lufthansa Cargo before in an attempt to force the carrier to move these stops from Kazakhstan to Russia.

TUI fly (Germany) (X3, Hanover) will add two ex-Hamburg International (4R/Hamburg) B737-700s to its fleet. TUIfly is expected to continue to operate leisure flights on behalf of parent TUI using its current brand even if a merger with germanwings (4U/Cologne/Bonn) would go ahead.
