Taxmen find bloated expenses in Jet Airways' books

The Indian Income Tax Department (IT) has found examples of bloated expenses during the extraordinary audit of Jet Airways (9W, Mumbai Int'l) financial records, the ANI newswire has reported.

It intends to offer scheduled and charter services in cooperation with the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada, using a single ex-Orca Airways (ORK, Vancouver Int'l) Piper (twin piston) PA-31-350 G-GPAK (msn 31-8052070).

EgyptAir Cargo (MSX, Cairo Int'l) commenced A330-200(F) operations on September 23 with the world's first P2F converted A330-200 SU-GCE (msn 600). The Airbus freighter converted by EFW in Germany will be used by the EgyptAir Holding cargo operator on its 3x weekly Cairo-Cologne/Bonn service. As of October, the frequency will increase to 5x weekly.

A Nigerian court has said that Kayode Odukoya, Chairman and CEO of First Nation Airways (FRN, Lagos), would face trial in relation to the NGN1.7 billion naira (USD4.7 million) theft charges, Omega News has reported.

Odukoya previously sought to strike out the charges due to procedural reasons as he alleged that the court had exceeded its jurisdiction.

NCA - Nippon Cargo Airlines (KZ, Tokyo Narita) has announced in a press release that it planned to resume scheduled operations to North America on September 28 operating between Tokyo Narita and Chicago O'Hare via Anchorage Ted Stevens.
