Croatia Airlines (OU, Zagreb) will launch weekly services from Dubrovnik and Split to Paris CDG in January and from Dubrovnik to Brussels, from Split to Nottingham as well as from Zadar via Pula to Nantes in April using A320-200s. It will however give up its Zagreb-Prague route by the end of March.

Air Wales (6G, Cardiff) will give up its Plymouth-Dublin route on January 2. It will launch a new four times weekly ATR 42-300 service from Exeter to Cork on January 4 instead. It has also announced plans for new routes from Cardiff to Belfast City and from Newquay to Cork to be launched in April.

SkyEurope will add four weekly services from Krakow to Brussels and three weekly services from Krakow to Turin and from Amsterdam to Poznan on March 25. Four weekly flights from Krakow to Stockholm Arlanda, three weekly flights from Krakow to Bologna and Edinburgh, from Budapest to Bologna and two flights a week from Krakow to Birmingham and from Budapest to Naples will be added on April 12. Volare Airlines (VE, Milan Malpensa) seems to attract a lot of interest among potential bidders for the carrier operating under court protection. All major Italian carriers (Air One (AP/Rome Fiumicino), Alitalia (AZ/Rome Fiumicino), Blue Panorama Airlines (BV/Rome Fiumicino), Eurofly (GJ/Milan Malpensa), Meridiana (IG/Olbia), MyAir (8I/Milan Orio al Serio) and Windjet (IV/Catania)) as well as easyJet (U2/London Luton) are reportedly planning to submit offers for the carrier and mainly its low-cost operation at Milan's slot restricted Linate airport.
