BAA Jet Management (Hong Kong) (UNA, Hong Kong International) has secured a USD25 million contract to provide Himalaya Business Aviation (HBA) with business jet management services over a three-year span.
HBA is a 49/51 joint-venture between BAA Jet Management and Royal China International unit Smart Empire Global and was formally incorporated in Hong Kong earlier this year. It specializes in high-end business jet management operations.
According to a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing, the contract with BAA covers the period September 15, 2017, to December 31, 2019, and will see it earn no more than USD3.1 million, USD11.2 million and USD11.8 million for each financial year.
For its part, BAA Jet Management is primarily involved in business jet management niche, providing flight scheduling, aircraft maintenance, and crew management services among others.
