easyJet (London Luton) has announced it will launch 12 new domestic routes in the United Kingdom, including its first-ever services from Belfast City, as it moves to fill the market gap left following the collapse of Stobart Air (Dublin International).
"We were sorry to see the news about Stobart Air and so are pleased to continue to provide key regional connectivity from Belfast International to Nottingham East Midlands and Leeds/Bradford airports, as well as launching easyJet operations for the very first time from Belfast City Airport to London Gatwick," easyJet's UK Country Manager Ali Gayward said.
The low-cost carrier said it will launch the following services in early July 2021:
- from Belfast Int'l to East Midlands (4x weekly) and Leeds/Bradford (4x weekly),
- from Belfast City to Gatwick (2x daily),
- from Bristol International to Jersey (3x weekly) and Aberdeen Dyce (4x weekly),
- from Manchester International to Aberdeen (4x weekly) and Edinburgh (4x weekly),
- from Birmingham, GB to Jersey (2x weekly) and Newquay (2x weekly),
- from Liverpool to Bournemouth (2x weekly),
- from Inverness to Newquay (2x weekly), and
- from Newcastle, GB to Jersey (3x weekly).
