Skyways (JZ, Stockholm Arlanda) and its sister carrier City Airline (CF, Gothenburg Landvetter) have filed for bankruptcy and suspended operations on May 22. Both carriers were owned by Mansvell Enterprises controlled by Ukrainian business man Igor Kolomoyskyi just like Cimber Sterling (QI, Sønderborg) which had been forced to file for bankruptcy at the beginning of the month. Skyways had used 11 Fokker 50s operated by Avia Express (Stockholm Arlanda) mainly on domestic routes in Sweden and international routes to Denmark and Norway. City Airline operated 6 E145s and 2 E135s from Gothenburg Landvetter to Luleå, Lyon St. Exupéry, Manchester Int'l, Prague Ruzyne and Zurich.
