ATR - Avions de Transport Régional (EVX, Toulouse Blagnac) has confirmed orders for five ATR42-600s that were previously undisclosed. In a statement issued to ch-aviation, the French-Italian aircraft manufacturer confirmed that Guadeloupean carrier, Air Antilles Express (Pointe à Pitre), has committed to one ATR42-600 while Indonesia's TransNusa (8B, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta) has ordered one of the type with options for an additional three. Air Antilles Express operates three ATR42-500s on flights throughout the Caribbean while TransNusa uses Fokker 50s and a BAe 146-200 on flights serving the east of Indonesia.
